4.6 Related domain name – Choose content related domain names for your site. If your site is about pizza, an appropriate domain name would be pizza, or pizza-making, or similar combination.

4.7 Separate with "-" : If you want to choose several words domain name, separate them with "-". If you choose connected words, or other separating sign like "_" The search engine can not figure it out. So for example if you need an appropriate domain name for, pizza making good examples would be:
pizza.com, pizza-making.com, good-pizza.com, pizza-tutorial.com.

* There is a counter argue in which separating the domain name with "-" may confuse your site visitor and make it harder to type the domain name easily, which in return would run potential visitors out of your site.

4.8 Short domain names - choose short domain names for your site. Don't use more than 2 words for your domain name. If for example we look for appropriate domain name for pizza making good domain names would be: pizza.com, pizza-making.com, good-pizza.com, pizza-tutorial.com.
Bad domain names would be: good-pizza-making.com, how-to-make-pizza.com, want-to-make-pizza.com.

4.9 TLD doesn't matter – There is no difference between .com and .net or between the others. However .com is much more easily remembered by visitors, so it's better to keep it .com. So pizza.net, pizza.com, pizza.name are all the same from SEO point of view.

4.10 Short URL – keep your url's small. When using back end scripts (PHP, ASP, JSP) programmers tend to attach long variables strings to their url's (e.g. www.pizza.com/cook.php? name=roger&password=fgbdcbfbg&nickname=zoro& session=ASS3434CCDcs$dFDF343e3SDFDF4545$$##xSXs). This doesn't help the search engine to understand what the page talks about. It would be preferable to use short attached strings such as www.pizza.com/cook.php?name=roger&nickname=zoro.

4.11 Back link – This is the most important thing you would have to take care of, when doing SEO. Back link is a link to your site from another site. The more sites back link yours, the better. The bigger/higher quality the site that links to you, the better. It is always better to be linked with text link than from a banner or picture. For example if we have a pizza site and someone back linking us we would prefer this text link: pizza making then banner link like: .
