SEO

4.12 Keywords – Choose your keywords and do SEO over them. Keywords are the words you would like other people would use in order to find your site. If for instance you have a site about pizza making, you would probably like to be found through search engine, when someone types "pizza", or "pizza making". So your keywords would be "pizza making". Choose appropriate domain name "pizza-making.com". Choose appropriate title "pizza making" and so on. When having back links to your site prefer them to be as your desierd keywords. So good back link to your site would be: pizza making. Other back links such as: recipe, pizza, Italian food, will not improve your SERP's position (Search Engine Result Page). Your ultimate goal in SEO is to get the first position on the SERP's. So if someone enters Google and types "pizza making" your site would be the first on the result pages.

4.13 No flash - I know some of you won't like this but search engines can't read flash files. They can read text. If you have built your entire site using only flash, you might be in trouble because no search engine can read it. However if you still like to use flash, use it only were it is needed. If it's a movie, banner or game, great do it. However whenever you have text on your website, try to get it out of the flash file and write it inside the HTML.

4.14 Good quality – You can do SEO all day long, but the real key to long term, big time success is… high quality site. Give your visitors better service then others do, give your visitors something they can't find anywhere else. First of all doing this will give you returning visitors and this is always good. Secondly other sites would link to your site, just as a service to their visitors, and if you have read this article you know back links are very, very important.
